Asexuality,
Sex,
& Consent

Starting in January 2024, R has partnered with undergraduate colleges and their sexual assault and/or LGBTQ+ resource centers to give educational trainings on asexuality, sex, intimacy, and consent. As part of this project, R also worked with Colgate University’s Haven (Sexual Violence Resource Center) to update their Yes Means Yes curriculum to include discussions on asexuality and compulsory sexuality.

If you are interested in having this training at your college or university, email R Hunsicker at rhunsicker13@gmail.com.

Pink Haus Oral History Project

The Pink Haus Oral History Project aims to create a

collection that records the experiences and histories of the founding members of Pink Haus, the first queer and trans themed-house at Colgate University, so

that current and future generations may better understand the history of LGBTQIA+ activism,

community, and life at Colgate University.

The Pink Haus Oral History Project is a series of video interviews featuring the students and staff

who were fundamental in the creation of Pink Haus and their individual stories around their

involvement in its founding.

With the focus on asexual relationships and communal strife, this blog will introduce and explain what makes the community and clarify what relationships are like with/as an asexual. It also promotes and explains issues the asexual community faces and provides resources as a goal to help you negate and prevent issues of discrimination and acephobia in your community.
